Becoming A Foster Family........

     You have come to the right place.

 

Becoming a family that will take a special needs child into your home will be the most rewarding thing you will ever do. We are not an agency that is looking for foster parents. We are looking for families that will allow a special child into their home and into their heart.

We have a simple process to start that allows all administrative paper work and back ground checks to be completed in a minimal amount of time. With our constant support and training, you could be a parent to a special child.


The Foster Care Certification Process:

You will need to be able to meet the Colorado State 's Minimum Standards for Family Foster Care regarding: living space, safety, health, and general caring for children. You will need to have “emotional room” for additional children, flexibility, patience and a committed attitude in handling a multitude of situations. You will need to be willing to participate in on-going training and support services. You will need to consider your family as members working towards the interest of the children. A home study will need to be completed on your family, which will include background checks.
